England are the Tweny20 World Champions, beat Australia in the T20 WC Final by 7 wickets

England finally won a cricket world cup as they beat arch rivals Australia in the final of 2010 ICC World Twenty20, by 7 wickets with 18 balls remaining on Sunday, 16th May, 2010 at Barbados. Aus made 147/6 in 20 overs and Eng made 148/3 in 17.0 overs.

Australia got a bad start when they reduced to 3-8 and once again Cameron White 30 , and David Hussey 59 rescued them to 147/6 in 20 overs. England lost Lumb early but Keiswetter 63 runs off 49 balls with 7 fours and 2 sixes and in-form Kevin Pietersen and 47 off 31 balls put 111 runs in 11 overs to guide an easy win.
