In a thrilling high scoring Group C 5th match of 2010 T20 WC, between to top teams, India beat South Africa by 14 runs and qualify in the Super 8 round on Sunday, 2nd May, 2010 at Gros Islet. Ind made 186/5 in 20 overs and SA made 172/5 in 20 overs.India lost 2 early wickets but 88 runs partnership between Yuvraj 37 and Raina who hit brilliant century 101 off just 60 balls with 9 fours and 5 sixes helps them to st a huge total of 186/5. South Africa got a slow start but 97 runs between Smith 36 and inform Kallis who made 73 with 3 fours and 3 sixes put them back in the match, in the end de Villiers tried hard with 15 balls 31 runs and they left with 2 many runs with very less balls in the end felt short by 14 runs
